I cannot answer such question with full accuracy, but due to the UN
airplanes stayed away of Suiho’s AAA defences excluding when they were
specifically attacking it, most likely if a plane was downed around Suiho,
it was because it belong to the strike force or the cover force. So, it is
confirmed that the following US planes were downed nearby Suiho:
May 20 1952: F-86A BuNo 49-1255 (336 FIS, 4 FIW), Capt. John F. Lane (KIA),
shot down by MiG-15 Ace Major Boris N. Zabelin (256 IAP, 190 IAD) near
Suiho, 10 miles S Sakchu.
July 20 1952: F-86A BuNo 51-2828 (336 FIS, 4 FIW), 1st Lt. John C. Ellis
(POW), shot down by MiG-15 pilot Sr.Lt. V.L. Lepikov (415 IAP, 133 IAD), 6
miles S of Suiho dam.
So, besides the previously mentioned attacks on June 23/24 1952, April 12
and June 7 1953, it is highly likely that Suiho dam was also attacked on May
20 and July 20 1952. Unfortunatelly, I have not any addittional info,
perhaps Cookie or Danz can help you more than I can.
