I may have some interesting thoughts soon. I've just gotten in contact with Jim Zumwalt, son of the recently deceased Adm Zumwalt, fmr Chief of Naval Operations. Jim has made extensive travels and contacts in North Vietnam (the original purpose of my attempting to contact him for my book-in-progress). And as it also turns out, I'm told he has contacts with North Korean veterans of the Korean War. As I'm looking for some NKA SpecOps vets, I might be able to find out something about airborne PLA or NKs during the war. Very early stages yet, but I'm hopeful.
