Re: North Korea - Miscalculation

I did not say Clintons and ..past sins.. I was referring to Robertson and
Falwell on TV. As a business person and watching the change of business
practices. I saw the changing of business deals being conducted from a
commercial based economy to a martial based economy. This was the underlying
emphasis I saw.

The current power base (President Cheney and President in Training Bush Jr)
stated their intentions right through the elections. Which in MHO created the
emphasis of the new money flow. So well stated by Tom Delay during the
elections. There were many quick comments by GWb as to the direction their
administration was going to do. We were provoking a war with Iraq.

Alternatively...they played with the oil markets in January of 2000 and 1999 on
the fuel oil. After the elections payback, RIO, was now expected and you see
that with legislation today giving tax breaks to the extremely wealthy.

This revenue was what fueled the Clinton Gore years combined with an emphasis on
a consumer economy vs a martial economy. It worked too. Just last week Japan
was making plans to figure out how to improve its consumer economy to strengthen
its financial base.

Our services economy maybe the unexplained trade balance that keeps us going.
GWb trip was also a sales trip to compete against the Russian martial economy
whwich they dominate on their borders. In fact all of Europe is more concerned
about developing their market economies more toward consumers then military.

While everyone was so focused on Monicas Skirt nobody can remember that the
Taliban wiped out 10,000 of its citizens, including women and children in one
week of battle. The public hardly noticed.

Most in this country were so focused on the petty and still were until 911. Now
the current power base is fighting to keep the country melded together, again
with contradictatory comments. They badly want to declare a dictatorship, so
well quipped by GWb in his election campaign, and recent comment by the AG.

Regarding NK.. I cannot contest they thought the USA would fold. I can say they
were provoking it and playing the other game to be friendly. Two faced. They
also expected more help from Russia and China. Russia and China were more
concerned to keep the Eurpoean powers out of thier land. They put up enough
material to do just that.

I do know that the Russians deliberately did not use any obsolete AC to fight
with. Only committed the Mig 15. The Mig15 was very far superior and saw how
the USA decimated all other Russian based AC they gave to the Koreans and
Chinese.
In fact they did not give them any othe Jet AC but the Mig15 for fighter
compabt.

The P51, Fury, Corsair would have been somewhat competitive against the Mig 9
and Yak15. Both of these AC were more on the par of the F80.

On Bin Laden the war propaganda we have been receiving it is not clear that Bin
Laden was directly responsible. We have been told a lot. The Bush Admin go
thier wish to be dominant in that area and they are there now. Ultimately it
does not make any difference.

Bin Laden the scape goat or not had to be stopped in the area. Pakistan will
surely feel relieved and more secure that it natural enemy to the west is going
to become a stable country. This will eventually lead to some kind of agreement
with India and Pakistan over Kashmir.

Then the USA will have some say over the oil flow outside of the region.
Thereby forcing the Arab Oil Cartel to compete for its resources. I consider
this an extention of the old battle of the spice routes. Just its 2001/2
