BW Controversy

Well,

This is certainly a difficult topic
because the real secret documents
may have been destroyed or still not declassified.

For all those who believe that US is
always good and right, it may be painful to
accept the fact that US used BW
weapons in Korea and China during the K.W.

But, there seems to enough circumstantial evidences
that indicate that it may happened.
It's important to keep an open mind in this
controversy and debate. I wonder how many of
you have actually read Endicott's book before
criticizing those who raise questions about it.

I just read another interesting article touching on this
controversy this Sunday. I recommend all
to read "Bad Chemistry," Washington Post Magazine,
12/16/2001. It is a chilling story about one scientist, Frank Olson,
who worked on BW development at Fort Detrick and possibly
murdered by CIA in 1953. Frank's son, Erick, argues
that: "his father had deep moral misgivings about the research into
biological warfare, including work with airborne pathogens
that he had been doing for the agency. In fact, he had
decided to quit his job. Eric is convinced that the CIA viewed
his father as a security risk, one who had to be silenced."(p. 26)

It seems the real truth is yet to be told.
Keep some healthy skepticism as I do!
