| John2, They were Po-2 (U-2 is the correct designation but not used in the west for obvious reasons of confusion) night intruders, and the "bombs" were usually grenades. Still, in the right hands and right targets they could be nasty, as they accounted for something like 500,000 gallons of fuel on one mission and 8 F-86s damaged/destroyed on another.
