Mr. Oberdorfer talked about his 1997 book, The Two Koreas: A
Contemporary History, published by Basic Books. The book describes the
past 25 years in both South and North Korea, drawing from his past
reporting, dozens of interviews, and previously classified documents
recently made available. Mr. Oberdorfer is joined by former U.S.
Ambassador to Korea, Stephen Bosworth, and Wendy Sherman, a former
counselor for the U.S. Department of State. After the presentation,
the panelists answer questions from members of the audience.
