As freedom of speech is still restricted in both North and South Korea is
this a surprise?
As intellectual freedom is little understood in both North and South
Korea is this a surprise?
Look at the crap you post here on a recurring basis. For it to be seem
"credible", it must say something nasty about Rhee, Park, Chun and the
United States.

The Japanese have made an industry in denial, as have the Koreans, as to
what happened in World War II, the occupation of Korea and other
activities in Asia. Is this surprising? If the truth were to be
admitted, it would cost too much money and it would be too embarassing to
some. It took the Philippines almost 50 years to admit that some
powerful families were Japanese collaborators during the occupation.
When will the Koreans start admitting their collaboration with the
Japanese?

Educated people understand that memoirs, the recollection of a person, is
written in a way that casts credit on the person who is writing the
memoirs. It is also understood that embarassing and derogitory things
are generally omitted. I am waiting for Clinton's memoirs, the spin
within the book should be able to cause all the desk toys to go into
hyperdrive.
