Dan, My knowledge of Viet Nam only dates from our participation. Koreans flew both MiG-17s and MiG-21s, and claimed kills in both aircraft. But they also lost something like 30 aircraft during 1967 which was more than the VPAF wanted to lose, so they were thanked and sent home. MiG-19s did not even go operational until late 1971.
