Re: Ex-soldier's letter
forgive me if I sound stupid ( mebby I am ) but the more I read about No gun
ri,My lay and others,I remember the words of Pancho Villa who during the
Mexican revolu
tion ( 1910-1924 ,?) said many times : " ajusiselon , despues veriguen.!
"Roughly
translated it means "shoot him, check him out later."
Surely, those goodie goodies who think wars should be conducted according to
the
rules of the Geneva Convention have lost touch with real life. The enemy in
Korea,
I didn't say "gooks", were out to get us whichever way. No respect for rules
whatso
ever. But do the holier than thou gang mention that? Of course not !
Apparently, they think we should behave "humanely" even when the enemy could
care less about the Geneva Convention, human rights, etc.
By the way,the same is happening in Colombia, them guerrillas show no mercy.
Should the govt forces behave nicey-nicey towards them? Chico Ramos
