Guys,

As a former tin can sailor during that period, I cannot believe our people
wouldn't have gone after the pilot ASAP, if for no other reason than to
embarrass the Soviets. One time our people tried to rescue a MiG pilot in the
Yellow Sea and were chased away by MiGs who then shot up the pilot.
