The Navy and USMC lost a bit over 1,000 aircraft in Korea at current counts. Most of them were lost to either AAA damage or accidents. They lost 5 in air to air combat and claimed 23 kills with their own aircraft (more with Sabres and F-84s in swapped billets). Most of the kills were night intruders to include Po-2 (U-2) bombers, Yak-11 and Yak-18 trainers used as bombers, one Yak-17UTI, and a couple of MiGs. They also tagged one Lend-Lease A-20 "Boston" (Soviets called A-20s Bostons as they combined US and UK designations together) but it was not officially scored.
