Mr. Hanley and Ms. Mendoza, co-authors with Sang-Hun Choe of The
Bridge at No Gun Ri: A Hidden Nightmare From the Korean War, published
by Henry Holt and Company. They talked about their book and their
experiences writing it. The book argues that it was the policy of the
U.S. military during the Korean War to indiscriminately kill
civilians. They answered questions following their talk.
