By MAC do you mean the "Military Airlift Command"?  If so, I would find it
most odd that such an entity would be adopting a political position.

If, by "MAC", you are referring to General MacArthur, I would ask you to
cite your source.  MacArthur, after all, was STRONGLY in favor of the US
decision to remove South Korea from the US zone of influence in 1949.  See
the three standard MacArthur biographies for discussion.
