There was a lot of contoversy naming Dulles Airport after John Foster
Dulles.
Or was it Allen? Know I think it is John Foster.  I live in the WDC and
remeember
the naming battle.

Being a Washingtonian Washington National will always be Washington
National.
Yeahh.. I know ...I am being contoversial again;-)

John Foster Dulles was appointed SecState in 1953 and served in that
capacity until 1959.  This was under President Eisenhower.   His brother,
Allen W. Dulles, was Deputy Director of Operations for the CIA from 1948 to
1953 during the Truman administration.  Allen Dulles became Director of the
CIA  26 Feb 1953 when Eisenhower took office.
