rosengrant medals 50 years ago

here is the information from truman library.  they do have
correspondence and newspaper clippings pertaining to the rosengrants and
the medal being returned to president truman.dick rosengrant was a pvt
killed in korea and awarded the purple heart posthumously  his mother
sent the medal and certificate to president truman and he forwarded the
the medal and certificate to the army   they say that the library  does
not know how many medals were returned to president truman or the united
states governement

they are going to copy the information and mail it to me.
