Under Fire
Hi all-
I finished reading W.E.B. Griffin's book a couple of days ago. Took longer
than I wanted but I have been reading a couple of other books at the same
time and trying to finish writing a story about the history of an area that
came within 48 hours of becoming the home of the United Nations. At the last
minute the Rockerfeller family denoted $10m to the United Nations if they
would locate the UN in New York City.
Well, Under Fire is a pretty darn good story which I related to on almost
every page and at the end W.E.B. writes this: "I learned of Lt. Clark's
exploits from my friend Ed Ivanhoe, who is the historian cum laude of the
Special Operations community and who was himself involved in the Korean War
Special Operations."
Have we got a good leader or what:-)
