RE: Major George A. Davis: 50 years ago he perform his deed

I cannot argue with final outcome.
However how they treat their people are roughly the same.
One has money the other does not.
The SK population have had many protests over the treatment of their workers and policies.
At least they can protest. But usually are busted up.

NK had a good economy until the early 90's.
They were selling weapons for export until China outsold their products to their clients.
After that the NK economy died.
NK was not getting any more help from Russia either.
They did not have any to give them.

There was an earlier post of what happened between 1945 and 1950.
It kind sets up the situation we see today.

No doubt Kim Il drove its country to ruin.  But that is what happens in a dictatorship.
Yet SK is no model Democracy.  With the US Marshal "like" plan SK would have never obtained its present economic status.

If anyone can believe there are no winners in war.

They should look at North Korea and South Korea at this time

South Korea is one of the most advanced Countries in the far east
North Korea cant feed their people.

North Korea is so backward that you cannot even see lights of their country from space.
South Korea from space is lit up like a Christmas tree.

And this goes on and on. This is what the war was all about freedom for the people and the privilege do shape their own life.
I am almost sure that if the North Koreans had the chance to live in the North or South  they would choose a country that they could have jobs, food  and security
