Re: Chinese/Russian/N.K. Casualty

Soviet casualties are listed as around 340 KIA, of which 110 were pilots.

Chinese numbers vary by source, but the most reliable figure which seems to bounce around is 1.3 million total. Of that they currently seem to indicate that 300,000 were KIA and the rest wounded.

This also doesn't count the medical casualties the Russians took. They have YET to fight a war where they don't suffer more medical casualties than combat. Case in point: 1st Chechen Campaign (December 1994 - July 1996). They suffered an admitted 5,500 KIA. 16,000 WIA, and 36,000 disease and injury casualites -- about 57,000 total. However, I have never seen a list of admitted medical casualties for the Soviets in Korea.
