RE: Rhee and Chaing kai chek
BTW.. I am not a Liberal..
Whatever the term means today has long since been shattered in the last
election.
Ask John McCain.
Iam asking a critical question to UNDERSTAND.
What I am I am doing is taking a RISK!
Performing a reality check on myself!
I am expressing an experience has been expressed by others.
I know Koreans and every other nationality are hard working..etc..
It is not just shyness that I am experiencing.
IT is a hostility or distrust.
An earlier explaination was valid. Some of the Koreans
NK or SK and were not treated well by US or Korean forces.
This is logical statement. This explains what I see in there eyes and
manners.
Those who have lived here a while it is a different experience.
Or kids from Korean decendants well aclimated to USA ways.
I got my answer..
Thanks,
Dan

Dan...Dan...Dan-
I find this a strange statement from one as liberal minded as you seem to
be.
We have a very large Korean population in Moraga, and most of my
neighbors
are Korean.
They started settling here about 10 years ago and run the local laundry,
video store etc,. They are hardworking and successful entrepreneurs. They
are
some of the most friendly and helpful people you could find, just like
everyone else.
They may be a bit shy because they do not yet speak good English yet.
They
are a proud people.
