Tunnels and lost MacArthur film???

Hi -

thanks for the tunnel info. for those who replied. I have even found out that
tourists can visit the ones farther out from the DMZ.

I just finished talking to a retired Lt. Col. from the Canadian Army. He was
over in Korea in 1951 with the PPCLI (Princess Patricia Canadian Light
Infantry) - the 1st Battalion comprised of volunteers, presidential citation
for battle at Kapyong, and then later as the Canadian Military Attaché
(1982-1984) at Panmunjom (UN Armistice Commission).

Anyway, when he was on leave in Tokyo he was somehow corralled into doing a US
Army film in which he was to be greeted by MacArthur. This was, I believe,
April 8, 1954 - days before MacArthur was relieved. Anyway, this fellow shot
several scenes with MacArthur and was invited into his office later. The film
was produced by the U.S. Signal Corp and tentatively titled "The 50,000th Yank
on RNR Leave." As far as he knows, the film was axed because of what was
shortly to come (the main attraction's removal from command) and ended up on
the cutting room floor. Would anyone have any idea where this film could have
ended up? I'm up here in Canada and as such the inner workings of the American
archival system remain an enigma. Any advice where to look? I think it would
be great if i could track down the footage and show it to the Lt. Col.

Thanks
