I just finished talking to a retired Lt. Col. from the Canadian Army. He was
over in Korea in 1951 with the PPCLI (Princess Patricia Canadian Light
Infantry) - the 1st Battalion comprised of volunteers, presidential citation
for battle at Kapyong, and then later as the Canadian Military Attaché
(1982-1984) at Panmunjom (UN Armistice Commission).
Sure good to hear a mention of the Princess Pat Canadian Light Infantry . I remember them well , their
canteen truck would stop by our outfit now and then
and boy did those kippered herring taste good .
