You should look at your own actions toward the Koreans. An attitude can be felt if not seen by most people.
The Koreans are a proud people and will not take mental abuse or any other kind. The 40 + years of Japanese occupation taught them a lot. Try meeting them on an equal plane and they will be friendly and outgoing as any people around
