Dan,

I would not call the DPRK and Iran "allies" as that connotes a relationship 
of mutual trust and admiration. It's really "Seller-Customer" in that Iran 
has purchased most of its early SCUD B missiles from North Korea, along with 
C and D models and the technology for the NO DONG which they call the 
Shahab-3. While they claim otherwise and purport to have designed and built 
it themselves, the photos of the Shahab-3 clearly show it to be a SCUD B 
missile that is 150% original size -- the description given for the NO DONG. 

In this day and age, the enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend.
