Both the CIA and NSA sites contain messages which show Stone to have been
an active collaborationist.  (A cover name is not generally assigned to
someone of no interest!)  The NSA site contains the message traffic from
September '44, where Stone was being recruited and that of October, '44,
contains traffic showing his collaboration.

The other sites given are as credible or as incredible as you wish to
interpret them.

Beyond that, do a GOOGLE search for "I.F. Stone" and "communism" or
whatever and start digging for yourself.  There was a major conference on
the Venona decrypts at Yale two or three years back which has a nice web
site but I do not have the URL at hand.
