RE: ROKA

ROKA
If you want to disagree.. disagree
Name calling and dirges against others are not acceptable in the Listserver.

There is a lot of information being distributed and new stuff being
discovered.
BTW.. we all know what War Material SK and NK had before the war officially
began.
Just peal back a few months of posting and you will find a pile of
information.

Perhaps you could tell us the type of Artillery the ROK Army had in May
1950? Give us the country of origin, the caliber and so on.

What type of APC did the ROK Army have in May 1950? Again give us the
country of origin and the name/nomenclature of the vehicle. BTW 6X6
trucks don't count.

Tell us the type of "fighter" aircraft the ROK Air Force had.

Your credibility has really gotten worse than John's. Does it worry you
that you are considered a fool?

The North Koreans didn't get a very large navy from the Soviets. The
Soviets weren't a "naval power" or oriented that way in the 1930s-50s.
As the KMAG was primarily Army Officers, it would be expected that they
would have a rather small navy, and what would they use it for? Fishing
in the Han?

Rhee's Army didn't break and run because of "rotten officers". They
broke because they were overwhelmed by a superior enemy. The front line
ROK divisions, regiments, battalions and so on gave a very credible
account of themselves until they one ran out of ammunition and also ran
out of Junior Officers, (Company grade) and Non-Commissioned Officers
(Sergeants). When in intense combat those ranks die quickly and the ROK
didn't have a way to quickly replace the losses. Had you ever served in
a Military organization, you would know that.

Fat Chae was a Japanese collaborator, like most of the South Koreans.

The reason there were no Tanks was because the roads in South Korea could
not take the traffic, the existing bridges could not take the weight.
Perhaps you should whine to all your Japanese Collaborator buddies as to
why the Japanese didn't build a better infrastructure.

The United States didn't keep a large Armored Corps in it's Regular Army
after the war. Why would it give something as valuable as a tank to a
country that didn't have a word for the head light of a truck or jeep?
As to Tanks in Asia, it is a common misconception as to where "tanks" can
and can't operate, especially by people who have never served on them.
If you have a complaint, go whine to the Airborne Mafia.
