Unkown Ace and Napalm
Hi, Cookie
I would like to ask you and Dan Blazzer: in the list of the 51 MiG-15 pilots
credited as aces appeared a misterious "Pomaz" (no first name or middle name
known) with 11 kills, apparently he served in the 494 IAP (so I guess he was
in Korea between April-July 1952). Taking into account the poor performance
of the 494 IAP, is unusual that had been an ace with so high score but with
so few things written about him. Do you know something about Pomaz and his
claims (date, type of plane)?
Regarding the matter of the effectivity of the napalm against Chinese
troops, 2 questions: Are there statistics of which service used it more
(USAF, USMC or USN)? What mean the acronym PNG that you use to refer that
Chinese general who accepted heavy losses?
Regards and Thanks in advance,
Diego.
