RE: ADMINISTRIVA. VIRUS WARNING

Hello all.
I caught it this morning.
AS a matter of fact it is a skillfully written email.
I was wise to it as microsoft never sends attachments.
In fact never open a .exe file

Go to www.microsoft.com and dig out the real one.
They have it listed very similarly to the one listed below.
Check it out

Subject: ADMINISTRIVA. VIRUS WARNING

I have received three note today about reception of a message,
supposedly sent by Microsoft Corporation Security Center to
Microsoft users, warning about the spread of a worm - W32.Gibe@mm
-
through e-mail. This message is in fact an attempt to encourage
the recipient to open an attachment - Q216309.exe -which
itself carried a worm and trojan horse. The worm spreads itself
through a mass-mailing, and the trojan horse allows remote access
to one's system.

Symantec rates W32.Gibe@mm as a Category III threat, based
primarily upon its increasingly wide distribution.

See

   http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.gibe@mm.html

for details.
