It really doesn't matter whether you or I or this entire List "think" that
Red China was entitled to the Chinese seat in the UN:  they did not gain
this until 1971.  The record speaks for itself.  Thus, the USSR was the
only absent member when the Security Council voted to intervene in Korea.
And the USSR chose to boycott the Council.  They could have chosen to be
present and to have vetoed the decision.
