Here are some books that talk about the S.Korean attack first!
Read them before you make another comment on K.W.!

1) The Hidden History of the Korean War by I.F. Stone (1952)...this is
classic.
2) The Origins of the Korean War, Vol.2 by Bruce Cumings (1990)
3) Joyce & Gabriel Kolko, The Limits of Power: The World & US Foreign 
Policy,
1945-1954 (1972)
