I have seen these signs, but they are very small and sometimes
the painting is faded away.

In any case, I think the Military Control Zone was probably
created soon after the ceasefire. The creation and planting of mines
within the zone could not have been carried out without a specific order of US
Commander, who served as the commander-in-chief over S.Korean troops too.
