On Sept. 14, 1950, just prior to landing at Inchon, we were briefed that there were 100,000 Chinese massed on the Manchurian border. It then puzzles me as to how MacArthur could have been surprised in November. Gen. OP Smith no doubt had that in mind when he "dragged his feet" as he moved the division toward the Yalu. Lee
