Re: Soviet Ground Casualty during the Korean War

There was a  Sgt. from the 5th RCT sometime in the latter part of 1950, came across a T-34 tank out of commission.   He looked inside and found a dead Russian soldier.  He tried to pull out the body in order to take it to the rear, but was unable to.  He removed all insignia from the uniform he could and turned it in.  That was the last he saw the signa and never was questioned about his find.
