The U.S.-led Combined Forces Command would take over in the event of an actual war with North Korea. The United States has absolutely no role in an incident of this kind, or in the daily operational routine of the ROK military. This is a clash between Koreans, conspiracy theories on evil Yank machinations notwithstanding.
