The closer you are to the front, the shorter the flying time. And the front 
moved back and forth during 1950/1951.

As you may have noticed, many of the airfields are in North Korea.  And 
many of the airfields were not major fields but were good enough to fly 
C-47/C-46, F-51s and other prop aircraft from.

As for K-57, Kwangju, it wasn't built until late in the war and only after 
ROKA established a major training base there.
