For me, Mahurin was with other buddies when they bombed the marshalling 
yards, but he got separated when decided to strafe those trucks, so he was 
alone when the AAA hit him for the very first time and later    downed 
(possiblely by the MiG of Prudnikov). But I can be wrong.

The 4 FIW had the 334, 335 and 336 FIS (Fighter Inteception Squadrons) under 
its jurisdiction.
