Do you mean stuff like this, Bob?
7 Dec: At 1445, CO, 32nd Inf, directed the establishment of
road blocks in the area to stop refugee movement to Hamhung and divert
them to Hongwan (CV1131). Male refugees of military age, or those living
in the area and not gainfully employed, were to be evacuated through PW
channels. CO made reconnaissance and recommendations to CO, 32nd Inf, of
contemplated SAG mission of forming the OPLR for the regiment. In
addition to constructing necessary positions for the OPLR, the S-3, 32nd
Inf, stated that SAG was assigned the responsibility of selecting and
constructing the defense positions for the 2nd Bn, 32nd Inf, then on
outpost duty. Patrol from 2nd Raider Co captured 1 PW. At 2100, alerted
for move 8 Dec to relieve the 2nd Bn, 32 Inf.

Subject: Re: Task Force Faith
For a book-length
project-in-progress, I am looking for first hand anecdotal material on Task
Force Faith (1/32) both alongside the Reservoir and including events leading
up to that action. How much time did that unsung outfit buy for the 1st
MARDIV in its withdrawal to the sea? (Is Ronald S842 still
out there?) Are there other websites out there that are specifically
concerned with Faith and not general KW threads such as this one? Thanks
in advance. Bob Norton 12004 Skipjack Court Woodbridge, VA.
