I must respectfully disagree with your "take."
Continuing to use the Japanese name is an
insensitive thing to do since such word offends
Koreans.
Of course, it would be a different matter if
the veterans of "Chosi Few" want to say that they
did not fight the war for Koreans and do not
care about Koreans' feelings.
