I can recall 
 in the 45th Inf Div having the following :
 Dan Blocker --Hoss on Banansa
 Tracy McFarland --Spanky of Our Gang 
 Bob Butts--a radio then later TV News Caster , He was in my Artillery Battery about two minutes till they found out who he was .
  Among others I cant remember . None ever saw combat except Dan Blocker as best I can remember.
 He went on with the 179th Inf Reg in Korea .
