I took basic training at Fort Ord Calf. In 1951 we had 12 of them in our company they perform other duty's while we train on all different type's of weapons. We had 12 weeks of basic training at that time. They changed that to 14 week's be for we Finnish our cycle. Conscientious Objector's took 6 weeks of the 12 week cycle then where shipped out to medical and cook schools.
