Artillery Moon beams we called them. We had one pull up on the blind side of the mountain hidden from the enemy right behind my tank about 30 yards. Our tank was on the ridge dug-in and sand bag. They said we was as safe as bugs in a rug the enemy will drop rounds all around us the location of the light was confusing to the enemy he was right that night they lighted up the valley and the in coming rounds never come close.
