H-19
I remember reading somewhere the Marines made the first "air assualt" using
H-19's. As I remember it, in 1952 they landed a Marine company (platoon,
battalion?) about 10 miles behind Chinese lines, stayed a few hours and
then pulled the unit out. Anyone have any information on this?
