Re: Many Are Called, But Few Are Chosen
Oh man,
I get mad when people insist I call myself a US American or insist I refer
to America
as US America during debates with academics influenced by Latin American
politicians.
Mi.guk.sa.lam is kind of fun though. Beautiful Country Person.
Anyway, YSK is targetting a specific group - Westerners that
fear China - and not a race. He makes a generalization by citing the head of
the
American sino-phobe group.
Anyway - YSK - are you saying that this specific group of china-fearing
Westerners
and the Chosin few are both not using Changjin to purposefully show contempt
for people
outside of their ethnic group?
I don't think you are, but I think Marc is seeing this.
>You seem to look for insults where none were meant and for denigration

Marc, ysk is not Chinese. Isn't this a little embarassing? It's kind of
bad to
claim people are racist when you mistake their ethnicity during the
argument. LEt's
not get into personal attacks.
Second JHK has called for the Chosin few to change the name to Changjin few,
ysk was just adding his bit. Are you confusing these two people?
Oh the point of the name - since no one appears to be purposefully degrading
anyone -
I agree with you on the point - who cares?
