In the case of our war of fifty years ago I think maybe we will
remember things differently. I could swear the North Koreans used flares once
when they ambushed us. Others in the company said there were no flares. One said
the night was lit up by tracers from the machine guns. I do not believe that
tracers, regardless of the volume, can create much light. This is one thing I
would like to ask one of the Gooks that ambushed us that night, "Did y'all use
flares?"

The same thing can look very
different to each person who sees it. Simply, each of us has different
intellectual baggage based on previous experience and learning. We are
different, therefore we see differently.
