Subject: Re: Korean War maps (making a
plastic overlay)
Making a plastic overlay should be as simple as printing your map onto a
plastic sheet. Go to an office supply store and tell the clerk what you
want to do and they will/should sell you the appropriate sheets. If you
know a teacher or secretary, they may have some on hand; although, the cost is
approximately $1 per sheet. Some of these overlays are made for computer
printers and others for copy machines.

Where could one get a plastic overlay using the
same two letter grid markings, i.e. CV, CU in North Korea, we used on maps
in those days. Or does someone have info on how to recreate them? I use the
map from Appleman's first book. Have numerous log entries from our unit and
would like to be able to post them on the
map.
