For those who don't know, Ich'on (spelling at that time) & Waegwan were
towns on the Pusan Perimeter. Taebu-dong (AKA the Bowling Allery) is a
town north of Taegu.

Forty-two B-29s of the 92dd and 98th Bombardment Groups carpet-bombed
two 500x500 yard areas near Waegwan.
The 1,600 bombs effectively destoryed enemy troop concentrations blocking
the Eighth Army offensive.
