"Foreign Awards:
    I saw your article regarding the U.S. Bronze Star for awarding to
Canadians.
    During the Korean Conflict, in a place called the Kapyon Valley,
a company from the 2nd Batt PPCLI from Canada was left alone after the
British and American units retreated. Outnumbered 10-1, this unit held
off the Chinese and North Koreans, alone.
    This was recognized by the President and others, The unit did
receive for their efforts the Presidential Unit Citation - and still
to now display it with pride!
