USAF forward air controllers id T-6 Mosquitoes equipped with air to
ground radios spotted about thrity enemy tanks preparing to ambush the
advancing 24th Infantry Division.They called USAF aircraft and USA
ground artillery,which destroyed fourteen enemy tanks and forced the rest
to flee.
USAF Combat Cargo Command C-54s began airliftingg supplies,including
sixty-five tons of rations and ammmunition to newly capured Suwon airfield souyh
of Seoul,C-119s initated airdrops of food and ammunition to front-line UN
troops.

For us Airman that were with the 6303rd Air Terminal Squadron at
Naha,okinawa we were part of the AirLift of supplys to Tachikawa,japan,and
depending on load placed on board C-54s and CATS at
Naha Okinawa, only stoped at tachikawa,japan for fuel,then on to
Kimpo, We at Naha okinawa were place on 24 hour around the clock duty for five
days and nights.At this time we lost a great percentage of our crew that
were transferred to kimpo.,And the USAF hired around 45
okinawans to work with us airman to load the aircraft,on each shift that
they worked ,one "honcho" had to understand English and speak some English... We
had no trouble with these okinawas and they were great workers,When i left
Naha,okinawa on September 15th 1951 these okinawan worker were still there doing
the same work.

In the Marines Convoy in the invasion of inc'hon Japanese
Crews manned thirty-seven of the forty seven LSTs.

G-2 estimate the enemy streight in the seoul area as ,5,000
troops,1,000 at Inc'hon area and 500 troops at Kimpo airfield.
