Bob, I disagree. We did win the war-the politicians lost the peace. The stated objective for entering the war was to prevent the North from taking over the South. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when we invaded the North, I never heard of anyone revising the objective. Therefore, since we achieved our objective it is a victory. I was never under the impression that we were invading the North to unify the country, I thought we were chasing the Korean Army to annihilate it, or at least render it incapable of threatening the South again. If there was an official change of objective, I would be interested in knowing about it. Lee
