Good thought. When you posed the suggestion originally, I tried to measure the LST in my mind and found it not very large. But that could have been the reason, now that you mention it. My forty plus year old comparison was based on spending about ten days on the Mitchell, T-AP 114 just prior to going aboard that LST.
