Re: South Koreans in the 7th Div.



We got in on that "integration experiment." One night we went out on patrol.
I think there were six G.I.s and an equal number of ROKs. It was very, very
cold. Gradually, the ROKs disappeared into the darkness. Only the six of us
returned together to the perimeter. We found the guys who started out on
patrol with us sitting around a small fire.
